He has also had several side-projects, like the more experimental "<a href="spotify:artist:0tzcjwJJt5SbOlLx9TNr8z" data-name="Viento Smith">Viento Smith</a>", or the brilliant merge of "<a href="spotify:artist:6t17pv2Q9w9ybTC0Ty5Sq2" data-name="McEnroe">McEnroe</a>" with "<a href="spotify:artist:7grmT5tV1tUKfCjPhZgW3h" data-name="The New Raemon">The New Raemon</a>" in 2016, with the resulting album "<a href="spotify:album:0QJdL3ULXdTX8JIJjFNMo3" data-name="Lluvia y Truenos">Lluvia y Truenos</a>".
But Ricardo is a brave and adventurous songwriter, and it was about time for him to conduct a more personal and deeper project. Because it is on his own, that Ricardo is more Ricardo than ever.
His solo debut in 2017: "Esperanza", proved that he was a writer of emotions, who was capable of an immense sensibility within his songs, that were born under a slowcore and alt-country influence, finaly culminating into something fresh, new and exciting.
