After putting out several songs from the project "eMpTy" (songs inspired by someone who has the initials M.T.) the songwriting took on a new direction. Life was rough and dealing with someone with substance abuse made it seem like songs about M.T. weren't important anymore. Songwriting has always been a source of healing and writing the song "It Never Ends" helped with that. The following song "IF" continues the idea in a positive sounding song. Life can seem rough, but sometimes just being optimistic about it helps. I hope the song "IF" helps anyone that's struggling. I plan to release more songs inspired by M.T., but since releasing "IF" I was inspired to write the lyrics to some Halloween songs. (I did not sing any of the songs on the album except for "Threshold"). It was fun to write fun songs without feeling the need to be so personal. It was a great outlet to work on this and make some fun video clips to go along with the songs. I'm continuing my break from my M.T. project. I felt inspired by a quote "Only when it's dark" and released that and was inspired to remake some older songs of mine that have never been released. 2/22/25 I will be releasing "Make Me Yours". I wrote this over 10 years ago, while being infatuated with someone. It's unlike most of my songs, but I like to experiement with different styles. I'm also currently working on remaking a song called "Connected" which I feel is relevant to today more than over.
