I'm a writer, recorder, performer, and lover of music. I wrote my first song when I was four years old, a little a capella number. I picked up my first guitar when I was 7, got my first electric guitar when I was 11 and fell in love with guitar solos. I started recording songs when I was 16 and continued playing with rock bands, mostly in the metal genre, throughout high school until a friend turned me on to all of the great music of the 1960's and 1970's.
With a degree in music from Providence College, I was part of a 7-piece rock band called Morgan's Tale, and formed The Pincushions with fellow songwriter and musician Pete Arsenault. We eventually spent a few years touring the Boston music scene, disbanding in the early 2000's. In 2003-2004 I played bass with Jon Gorey and spent the next few years as lead guitarist and on vocals with Acoustic Trance Project.
In 2010 I faced the reality I might not be able to continue playing the guitar due to severe Psoriatic Arthritis in my left hand. I had a fusion surgery, and after 9 months of recovery, I was finally able to start playing guitar again. Life goes on.
Late 2019 found me collecting tracks to compile the Brewer album, and in the recording studio with Tedd Tjornhom kicking off the 20/20 album which was completed early 2021 in my New England studio. I'm currently playing live in the South Shore, MA, around Boston with my friends in our band Guy, and endlessly releasing new songs.
