Rich Mountain Celtic is a dedicated and passionate East Tennessee band known for fusing traditional Appalachian music with Celtic songs and tunes. The musicians, who hale from the highlands and foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee, are from diverse musical backgrounds, but share a love for traditional music that makes up the rich heritage of their region. Their recordings are made up of live instruments including: fiddle, concertina, guitar, flute/whistle, mandolin, and bodhrán. Listeners will notice that their songs will also contain mashups of multiple Celtic tunes and a mix of original and traditional material.
