German techno/dance producer, remixer, and solo artist Richard Bartz began his musical career in the mid- to late '90s. Bartz has worked with such artists as Acid Scout, Abe Duque, Richard Hinge, Lester Jones, Chris Korda, Mark EG, and Christian Weber, among others, in addition to issuing his own trance-like releases, 1996's Escape and 1998's Sci-Fi. Bartz has also appeared on DJ Hell's 1996 release X-Mix Vol 5: Wildstyle (and album that combined techno mixes with disturbing graphics), contributing the track "B1." Bartz also performs under the alias "Acid Scout," and issued a pair of albums including 1996's Musik for Millionen and 1998's Safari. ~ Greg Prato, Rovi
