Richie Young is based in the city of Fredericton, New Brunswick. His music is largely inspired by the rock and blues music of the 1970s and 1980s. Richie is a one man band bringing you the heat with his voice, electric guitar, harmonica all while simultaneously carrying the beat with his feet on a custom bass and snare drum.
Richie Young spent the last two years playing festivals and events such as Harvest Jazz and Blues, Paddlefest, ECMA's, Follyfest, MusicNb's Festival 506, and the Living Roots Festival. He is a regular on the New Brunswick music scene and can be found playing many clubs, private functions, halls and festivals around the province and the maritimes
