By the age of 12, Richy had already composed his first two songs, though these have not yet been produced. During his youth, he began performing occasionally at a restaurant specializing in folk music, where he was highly admired for his energy and skill in interpreting popular songs of the time.
His musical career continued to develop, first as a member of local bands and later as a solo artist. His participation in the renowned Ecuadorian group Bladband marked a significant turning point in his career, allowing him to release his first singles as a solo artist, including "Morir y Nacer" and his most recent hit "Entre tus dedos."
Recently, Richy has expanded his repertoire with singles like "Suddenly" and "Vamos," both featuring a versatile Romanian rapper, Edward G. Looking ahead, he anticipates the release of his latest track,
"Te lo digo yo," in August 29th, marking his entry into the world of urban music.
At the moment he is working on his first album and soon his first English song “Survive” will be out, approaching Richy to the Anglo music world.
