Richy Samo, also known as <a href="spotify:artist:5DaOj9wfCsx8yDvPHgWC9r" data-name="Richysamo">Richysamo</a>, was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Starting as an early DJ/producer on the underground scene, Samo quickly gained notoriety. It wasn't until the murder of Samo's brother that he began making rap music a career. In fact, his brother's last words to him were, "Stay out the streets and take this music shit serious".
Shortly thereafter, he linked up with <a href="spotify:artist:3wyVrVrFCkukjdVIdirGVY" data-name="Lil Pump">Lil Pump</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:21dooacK2WGBB5amYvKyfM" data-name="Smokepurpp">Smokepurpp</a> , and <a href="spotify:artist:3R0r4kEO5eJLslqeC1LIIe" data-name="YOPPA BAM">YOPPA BAM</a> to create the rap group Gucci Gang. He even went on to collaborate with <a href="spotify:artist:15UsOTVnJzReFVN1VCnxy4" data-name="XXXTENTACION">XXXTENTACION</a>. Richy Samo was quickly scooped up by the label Alamo Record and began hitting the studio hard.
After critically acclaimed songs like <a href="spotify:track:29BZw0j35PPkA3K2lE0Jv2" data-name="The Hated">The Hated</a>, <a href="spotify:track:6lL3T483SExRXenZnPTq9p" data-name="Bang">Bang</a>, and <a href="spotify:album:6bUwxnwGhueRhTPSONlMxD" data-name="Trap Baby">Trap Baby</a>, Samo is scheduled to release the full length project "SkrewHead" In December 2018 and shows no signs of slowing down.
