Rick Baggio is a Brazilian singer and songwriter.
Grandson of Italian immigrants, he was born in Curitiba, where he began to study Brazilian popular music and Spanish classical guitar with his first master Pedro de Paula. His first project started in 2004, writing, playing and singing progressive rock in a local band called Macuza Vazalém, where he met <a href="spotify:artist:0uem6pMMeo6mb4tjIkUl0K" data-name="Pedro Johns">Pedro Johns</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4bsExXn3wFc1ztd34xVT0i" data-name="Junca">Junca</a> and Fernando Cavalaro.
He moved to Bristol (England) in 2008, where he was heavily inspired by blues, jazz and Irish folk music, learning new instruments such as the cajón, harmonica and bass, and also composing in English.
In late 2017, Rick moved to Barcelona (Spain) and building partnerships through the local pub scene started releasing his own work in late 2020, bringing together musicians from all over the world through independent labels.
