Rick Fendi aka “Eric” (Independent Artist) The 26 year old rapper from New York City, grew up in the streets of Dyckman. Not a well known person, but still made his presence known or felt where ever he was. At age 11-15 His passion in music was found through various moments in his life. He was in a marching band in middle school, lead trumpet player, in high school he carried on to learn how to play guitar, and a bit of piano. At age 16 he decided to start writing his own music. The first original lyrics he wrote to try was to one of Future’s songs called Purple Reign. From there he proceeded to continue writing until he reached age 17 when things went downhill. “I grew up without a father & I feel like due to not having a father figure I ain’t really know how to go about certain things in my life" he said. Also stated that he was very grateful for his mother and sisters for always applying constant pressure for him to succeed.
