Rick Moore was born in Valley Forge Pennsylvania and grew up in Philadelphia. He studied woodwinds (alto saxophone and clarinet) early but switched to guitar as a teenager and began writing songs and creating bands to play them. When he wasn't playing or singing in various bands around Philly he ran sound at various clubs and recorded for others in his studio.
Rick also wrote for television and film as well as produced and played for others.
He continues to write and record as well as revisiting past recordings available on all streaming services.
