Meet Ricky Joe Jenkins — a music persona built around a small-town lyric writer and lifelong music lover.
The stories and lyrics come from real life — real experiences, memories, people, loss, love, and everything in between. The person you see in the imagery is real, too.
Artificial intelligence is part of the creative process. AI technology is used to help create portions of the instrumentation, production, and vocal processing. I look at AI as a tool that helps turn the songs I write into something you can actually hear — almost like bringing a demo to life.
I understand AI-generated and AI-assisted music isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. I’m not here to hide how the music is made.
But if a song makes you tap your foot, nod your head, or — more importantly — if the words make you feel something or remind you of your own life, then I’ve accomplished what I set out to do.
Real stories. Real lyrics. New tools. Music is still music.
Thanks for listening.
