Ricky Venoris Arnold Jr. professionally known as Ricky V is an American hip-hop artist born August 4th 1983 in Little Rock, Ar. Ricky V started writing lyrics and rapping at age 13, where he was Influenced by the likes of Mystikal, Rick James, Bone Thugz - n- Harmony, Lil Wayne, Da Brat, Usher, Z-Ro and T.I. Ricky V's first experience in the music industry would come when he became a member of a Texas rap group, The Southern Hoodlums, which was short lived. A few years later, he would create his own group, Black Opts which fell apart within two years. Using that as determination, he would go on to release 7 albums and multiple singles.
