The Filipino-American, Midwest-born, NYC-based singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist channels the spirit of early 2000’s NÜ Metal through a 21st century lens, tapping into the unpredictability of hyperpop, and a whole lot of Emo Rap finesse. RICKY//OMEN is pioneering the new wave sound of heavy rock guitar and drums paired with trap beats and 808’s. Defying all rules the artist mixes his earlier influences of Linkin Park, Deftones, & Slipknot and blends it’s ethos effortlessly into the Emo Trap scene led by artists such as LiL Peep and Juice WRLD, creating a whole new genre of NÜ/Trap Metal.
RICKY//OMEN continues to write, record, & play select regional dates as he crafts the next batch of tunes and gears up for his US tour dates in 2024.
