Riizzyi (Teboho Life Magida) is Free State-born rapper, singer,songwriter, and producer. His musical journey began early; he started writing songs at the age of 12 and had his first recording session in his township at 13.
The stage name Riizzyi, or simply Riizzyi, is an acronym for "Rap Is Easy." The name evolved from his earlier nickname, "MGD," which he used as a shortened form of his last name, Magida. Teboho decided he wanted a cooler, more dynamic name, leading to the creation of Riizzyi.
Riizzyi's deep immersion into hip-hop culture was inspired by his late brother, who was a huge fan of the genre, encompassing elements like dancing, beatboxing, and street cyphers. After his brother's passing, Riizzyi felt a profound connection and commitment to the hip-hop scene, which gave him a purpose and a path forward.
He has collaborated and worked with several notable artists, including Ab Syr (Syre Gmn), The Magistrate, Orison Guru Mafioso, Jay Supe, Kiddo Blaq, and others.
