Rik Ronner is a composer, writer and teacher, specialising in music for dance, theatre and related performing
arts. Over the past ten years, he has developed an artistic signature in which he combines great contrasts &
strong dynamics with a long continuous line that supports the production in question. In all his work, primary
emphasis on the combination of foley, sound design & beats in a wide mix of genres can be found. In the
Netherlands, he works for ISH Dance Collective, Shailesh Bahoran (IRC) & Solostories. His compositions have
been played in the theatre circuit of the Netherlands and at festivals and venues throughout the world. International highlights in his career are Burning Man Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the off-broadway New Victory Theatre in New York City.
