Born in southern Connecticut, and steeped in music growing up, Johnson began playing guitar at a young age. Originally playing lead guitar in blues and jam bands, by his late teenage years, Johnson began writing his own songs and took to a more fitting, mellow singer/songwriter vibe. His taste for country, folk, and rock n' roll comes to a unique form in his songs and live performances.
