RIMIDI is a Miami native and an innovative storyteller who quit her job as a full-time public school teacher to make her dream of becoming a creative entrepreneur a reality. She insisted on creating a life conducive to allowing her to focus on her children’s development as well as her own. Healthy living that scopes beyond the physical body and is extended to the spiritual, mental and prosperous realms became her focus. Most importantly, her desire grew to share this love amongst the world around her through existence. With this being said, she rounded up her band members and expressed her desire with urgency that it was do or die and thus the thrill began. Born as Shawnnette Longley, RIMIDI has been making waves in and throughout the world since the beginning of her journey. RIMIDI is a visionary, creative entrepreneur and mystic, multifaceted in the world of music, education, business, spirituality and wellness. She uses different forms of art as a way to express herself and the things that she is most passionate about, mostly through and at the cutting edge of experimental alternative soul music and film projects. Everything that she does is essentially to express her authentic self in hopes of inspiring others to do the same. RIMIDI is known for her lyrical realism and charismatic delivery.
