Rings True

Based in the heart of Northumberland, we (Maria Martindale and Jason Vare) are the duo that make up Rings True. With Maria as vocalist and pianist and Jason as vocalist and guitarist, we have been involved in writing and performing music individually for many years. We are two people who are very passionate about music and who love to take any opportunity to share this passion, enthusiasm and love.

Between us, over the years we have built up a wealth of experience playing and singing at a wide range of venues and occasions such as churches, schools, conferences, home concerts, pubs, cafes, festivals, weddings, funerals, baptisms, birthdays and many more! We continue to offer music for a wide range of events and occasions, but together we specialise in weddings. We have played for many happy couples on their special day, including ITV's TV presenter Declan Donnelly and his beautiful wife Ali as they tied the knot in August 2015.

We are now focusing and working on more original music and writing a lot of material together. Our debut single comes out on the 11th December and we have a new album in the works ready for summer 2021.
