My name is Risa Kopp. I'm a singer-songwriter from central IL. I'm bold, thoughtful, honest, compassionate, and fiery. All of that shows up in my music. I've been creating and writing, as well as singing at various venues for many years. It has been quite a journey.
As a songwriter, 5 of my songs received recognition in 6 different songwriting competitions, including wins at the 16th Annual Independent Music Awards, the John Lennon Songwriting contest, and the IMEA Awards.
I'm releasing a few singles in 2020, in the blues/gospel genre. The first in March, the second in May, and the third in September. I will also be doing some performances in IL throughout the year. When I'm not doing music, I'm loving on my family, studying theology, and working in my garden.
