Rise

RISE is a Brazilian rock band formed in early 2020 from the collaboration between Daniel Almeida, guitarist with strong influences from hard rock and progressive rock, and Marcelo Alferes, vocalist and lyricist with influences from several rock styles and other genres. RISE’s thematic focus on promoting a conscious approach to different aspects of modern life and society.

RISE’s first single, “Open Your Eyes”, released on September 10 of this year, represents the band's debut through an acoustic track with soft and striking vocal melodies, bringing a strong message about indifference and representativeness.

November 19th marks the release of our first conceptual EP, “Broken Uncertainty”, on all platforms. Featuring 5 tracks, it reflects RISE's musical proposal, overflowing all the band's musical influences: textures and rhythmic variations, unexpected turnarounds, striking melodies and memorable choruses. Following band’s proposal, EP’s blunt lyrics are well associated with the album's concept.
“Broken Uncertainty” addresses important life’s turning points, as well as our role in each process, from “birth” to “death”.
