Riskfool is a Heavy Metal band founded in 2024 in Bucharest by Alex Ichim (lead guitar) and Vlad Geampalia (rhythm guitar + vocals). From the very beginning, they wanted to write original material, and after Luca Lovin (bass) and Horia Radu (drums) joined the band, everything started to take shape.
The band made its debut at True Club and went on to perform in clubs such as Fabrica and Encore. The four members bring diverse influences, ranging from stoner to NWOBHM, thus shaping a distinctive and varied sound.
In September of this year, Riskfool launched a series of videos titled Beyond the Stage, inspired by the question: “Are there people who regularly go to concerts but have never seen what everything looks like from the artist’s perspective?” From the emotions of preparation and the bustle backstage to the release of energy on stage, the project follows Riskfool’s concerts from the inside. The final clip captures both the intensity of live music and the story behind each moment.
They recently released their first single entitled "Frozen Lair". The track is rooted in thrash metal, enriched with modern influences such as a powerful breakdown followed by an oriental-themed riff that heightens the atmosphere of mystery and the unknown. That is why they play Contemporary Thrash: “For us, risk is part of the process: with every song, every concert, every note, and not just in music…”
