1995 was the first time Alexandre Destrez’s keyboards were heard on the album Boulevard from St Germain (Label F com), « Boulevard » elected Best «Dance» Album of the year by the UK press then the album "Tourist" (Blue Note), which sold 3 million copies throughout the world, rated N°1 jazz sales when is came out in the US and awarded 3 Victoires de la Musique in France.
Alexandre also collaborated with numerous artists on the French electro scene such as Shazz (Album nominated for the Victoires de la Musique), Dimitri From Paris, Martin Solveig (Album « Hedonist » nominated for the Victoires de la Musique), Oscar, Dj Yass …
And with Pop artists such as Overhead on Silent Witness album (ffff Télérama).
Today, Alexandre is carrying on with this Electro Jazz adventure with the first album of RIVE GAUCHE
called AU TABOU.
He is backed up by the DJ producer, David Hachour for composition, beats and samples, as well as by jazz musicians each with their own talents.
RIVE GAUCHE is a continuation of the « Saint-Germain-des-Prés » spirit with its very particular French Touch !
