Rizz

Khari Eleby, better known as Rizz is a hard working father, and struggling hip hop artist. He is a native of Philadelphia, and had a challenging childhood. At the age of 14, he decided to begin writing music about his life in an attempt to escape everything wrong in his life. He was inspired by great artists such as ROC A FELLA, RUFF RYDERS, AND 50 CENT. When he listened to their music, it compelled him to share his story and live his dream of becoming a great artist in his own right. He began rapping in battles on Rap Rivals as Young Rizzol with battle rap group CMZ (Cre8tive3Mindz). Writing and performing his music not only gave him exposure, it also gave him a purpose. Rap Rivals was discontinued, and Young Rizzol stopped rapping for a few years. During this time he worked odd jobs, and became a husband and father. Young Rizzol then decided to focus on working hard to provide for his family. The struggles of everyday life was not enough for Young Rizzol, he wanted more for himself and his family. He began to focus on his dream and in doing so; he realized that his dream meant even more because it was no longer just about him, it was about his family. He also realized his life and raising his children was not a young man’s game. He changed his artist name to Rizz and decided to focus once again on his dream. He is determined to show his children not to give up, and with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible.
