Ro the Soul Diamond

When you think of R&B music, you might imagine boring love songs with endless lyrics about falling in love….. think again. Ro The Soul Diamond is the guardian, keeper and watcher of beautiful R&B music songs that will remind you of the truth…chivalry might be dead, but R&B Music is alive and well. Ro is a Singer-songwriter & musician born in Washington, DC that has written for a variety of independent artists from the DMV area.

When asked why Ro continues to make music, even though it’s been said real R&B music is a dying art form, Ro says “My mission is to stay in my lane and be myself. If you like to create love songs, then create love songs. If you rap, rap etc., etc. But stay true to who you are. Its true that artist can be reminded of other artists music, but when you hear me, its Ro the Soul Diamond music, done my way. People can accept when you are true to what you love to do. People can truly feel it.”

Currently, Ro The Soul Diamond has released three singles, “Nobody’s Gon Love You Like Me”, a slow-moving sultry song. Another single, “Walk Out Your Life”, is a gritty unapologetic ballad of love gone wrong. Ro’s latest single called “The Ultimate Wedding Song”, featuring legendary DMV minister of music, Nathan McFall and Will Birckhead (guitarist for Jennifer Lopez).
