Roadog is a Finnish stoner rock power trio. Formed in 2013 and named after a monster bike built by engineer “Wild” Bill Gelbke in the 60’s, the band combines a love for wall-of-sound aesthetics, melodic vocals, fat drums and a heavily distorted low-tuned bass guitar. The group's self-released long play record, “Reinventing the Wheels” came out in late October 2018.
Contrary to the album title, Roadog is not looking to reinvent the wheel, just play really sweet and fuzzy heavy rock. Inspired by classic stoner rock acts, the album mixes influences from Monster Magnet, Fu Manchu & Kyuss, with a slight touch of Corrosion of Conformity.
On Nov 20, Roadog released the first single, Full Throttle, from the upcoming 2021 sophomore album.
Roadog is
Risu (guitar and vocals)
Costaja (drums)
Conan (bass)
