A young-blooded heavy metal/hard rock quartet based in Bulgaria, Roadwire started finding success locally in Northwest Bulgaria first, before showing up on the scene in the Bulgarian capital and continuing to travel all around the country, playing different gigs and festivals.
Drawing influence from different genres such as classical heavy metal, hard rock, jazz, blues and funk, Roadwire became a well-known name among the local metal scene in Bulgaria. The band formed in 2019 and features a lineup consisting of Martin Subkov (vocals & rhythm guitar), Radostin Mihaylov (lead guitar), Iliyan Tsvetkov (bass) and Yuliyan Halyov (drums). As of 2022 the drummer is Manuel Maleshkov.
In the summer of 2020 Roadwire released their first single "Knuckle Sandwich", which has enjoyed success, being played on most radio stations in Bulgaria. The full length album Aggressive was released in 2022.
The band is now preparing for the release of their new EP Back on Track. Stay tuned!!
