Roan Kearsey-Lawson

A Composer and Virtuoso Performer. Described as “One of the World’s Greatest Vibes Players” (Club for Acts & Actors, London, June 2017), Roan Kearsey-Lawson is a Virtuoso Vibraphonist and “a talented multi-instrumentalist and composer” (Ian Maund, 2014).

On his "Mostly Me" album Roan recorded the album himself and is performing on Vibes, Piano, Drum Kit and Keyboard Bass (the bass sound used is Vienna Symphonic Library samples). This album boasts an international track of the day on All About Jazz.

On Roan's "Fantasia on Mindfulness" album he also recorded this himself and is performing on Vibes, Piano, Drum Kit, Percussion and Keyboard Bass (using VSL bass samples) and Keyboard Harp (using Spitfire Audio BBCSO harp Samples) found at www.roankearseylawson.bandcamp.com

Prolific across most musical genres as a Performer and Composer. A commissioned film composer, Roan's Romantic Moods and Fantasia on Mindfulness albums feature the theme from a film score. Roan has also been commissioned to record and compose in the Pop and Jazz industries, he has written and recorded eight of his own albums spanning Jazz, Classical, & Jazz and Classical Fusion.

A Virtuoso performer Roan has performed with dozens of famous artists from across the globe, including live on BBC TV and Radio.

Roan has been featured in three one-hour programmes on BBC Radio, his jazz album New York Connections has also been album of the week on the Jazz UK.
