Roasted Crow is a Texas-influenced southern rock band featuring influences of the blues, classic rock, and country with a dash of reggae and funk thrown in. This unique blend of styles combined with the intensity and energy of the band’s live performance set Roasted Crow apart from other West Texas bands. Founded in 2020 by Sid Anderson (guitar, vocals), Buddy Muñoz (bass, vocals), and Ivan Borrego (guitar, vocals), the band played with several different drummers mainly as a cover band. After parting ways with their drummer in August of 2022, Phil Hodges joined the band on drums thanks to a chance recommendation by a local club owner who liked the band’s sound and heard the potential. With a new energy and focus on original music, Roasted Crow has been in the studio writing and recording songs, and has a streaming LP released in October of 2024.
