Rob Englund is a full-time data analyst/consultant by professional career. Music has always been a casual hobby of his, but during COVID/quarantine, he got serious about it. He is starting to get into music production and has been making his own original songs. Rob started playing the guitar at the age of 9 where he took lessons until he was 15. From there, he has been entirely self taught. In September 2020, Rob bought a keyboard, and it has been off to the races ever since.
Rob has a wide range of musical influences. Growing up, he was very much into classic rock which is the genre he played the most while taking guitar lessons. AC/DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd are some of his favorite artists in that genre. During his college years, he started getting into mainstream country and overall, he would consider that his favorite genre. Kenny Chesney is his favorite country artist. Post college, he started to catch the EDM bug. Kygo is his favorite artist across any genre and his main musical influence. His productions are also inspired by Avicii and Gryffin.
