Rob Roy

Born 1980 in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada Rob Roy is a multi talented Hip Hop artist who has been recording music since his late teenage years and has consistently grown over the years expanding his circle and working with some of Hip hop music's best emcees and producers.

A true school MC with roots grounded in the Golden era of Hip Hop his style is consciously aware incorporating and emphasizing skill, delivery, flow, wordplay and cadence. The importance of paying homage to the art of Rap is obvious in his showmanship.

Working with Canadian legends like Adam Bomb, Tona, Big Sproxx, Halfcut, Choclair, Makemdef, Shy the beat yoda and recently has done multiple projects with super producer Marco Polo garnering attention from Djs such as DJ Eclipse, Hip Hop mogul and pioneer DJ Premier and DJ Rhettmatic of the World Famous Beatjunkies. These connections has gotten Rob Roy multiple spins on Eminems Serius\XM satellite radio program Shade 45. Shows such as "Rap is outta control" With DJ eclipse and DJ Ritz and "Live from Headqcourterz" With Dj Premier.

With multiple videos online and a background in Battle Rap, including a full length Documentary titled "Battle Rap The Renaissance" which goes into depth interviews with some of the worlds best battle rappers to show the struggle of making it in a such a competitive landscape, Rob Roys career is documented visually over the years with hours of entertainment for a wide audience globally.
