Being born and raised in rural southwest Germany Rob T. Strass discovered his passion for music at the age of 10 after listening to a Beatles song. He started learning how to play guitar shortly afterwards. He found his own distinctive way to sing and to play various instruments. His music is crossing the valleys of somber Artrock creating a dark heavy blanket up to the summits of light ethereal Dream Pop. Characterized by modal, metric and temporal changes without being perceived as unapproachable by the average listener his work cannot be associated with traditional genres, the lines blur.
Ultimately in 2017, after countless failed attempts in starting bands, the studied Philosopher and Germanist Rob took heart to plan on producing his first Studio album "The Awakening".
Since 2021 - inspired by the hippy movement - he has put his focus on politcal and sociocritical songs, most recently on his track "Free Man".
