Rob Thom writes and sings searching folky-pop vignettes of love and life. Switching between catchy toe-tappers and soulful ballads, he weaves haunting vocal melodies with finger picking and strumming on six and twelve string guitars.
In addition to his own songwriting, Rob has built a reputation of creating exceptional environments for the London open mic community. He has run the legendary Green Note folk club's open mic in Camden Town since 2012, attracting songwriters and performers from far and wide.
Rob has been a regular member of the Virtually Acoustic Club (created by David Sherwood in 1997, and commonly known as The VAC) since 2005, and now runs and performs at The VAC every Monday evening at Marquis of Granby in Westminster London SW1.
