Hey there! My musical story begins in the hills of Virginia. Growing up in a small town near the Shenandoah Valley, I was surrounded by music. I first caught the music bug listening to my dad sing at our small country church, where he was often featured.
My first guitar came from the Sears and Roebuck catalog when I was 8. It wasn’t easy to play, but I stuck with it, learning “Juarez,” a song my dad taught me (written by Tompall Glaser). With a little help from my cousin, I picked up Travis picking through songs like Kansas’ *Dust in the Wind* and spent countless hours at El Opperman's Pawn Shop searching for new-to-me gear.
From singing and playing in church to picking up bluegrass and country tunes on visits to my cousins in Appomattox, music became a lifelong part of me. My early band days in college didn’t go far, but they planted seeds for the soulful, storytelling style that shapes my songs today.
Today, I’m sharing my catalog as part of what I call the Wells Musical Production Projects. My project songs are started by me noodleing the melody on guitar or piano. I'll usually figure out the first verse and chorus, then use AI to get each track stream ready.
I have many finished tracks and many more in the works. I hope you just enjoy the tracks. Your listening support means the world. Thanks for listening, and I hope you enjoy the journey and follow along with me!
