Musician and songwriter Robb Justice has always been inspired by a variety of musical styles—old country, blues, rock and Americana—almost as much as he has been inspired by the untrammeled landscapes he tends to surround himself with.
It was his early longing for wilderness and solitude that first drove Robb at a young age to venture from his childhood home in Minnesota and into the backcountry of Montana. Yet when he later drove the Alaska Highway, he knew he’d found his place. With several detours, including a year of soul searching in Hawaii, he finally made the move, making his way back to Alaska, where he lived for 12 years, sharing a log cabin on the Kenai Peninsula with his wife and two sons
