The blur of each day is getting longer, awaiting for what’s to come, yet Robbery Club is here to demonstrate a worthwhile moment in the present. Having been a part of the Buffalo music scene as Ghostpool for a near decade, the evolved group in Robbery Club live up to the existential dread punk stylings from their previous effort with 2025’s “Loot,” the band’s debut EP on Triple Hammer Records.
Coming off the single “Sharp Air / Alone,” Robbery Club’s “Loot” carries a similar sense of wondering what the point of this all is, while maintaining a more defined driving rhythm section and melodic choruses to keep the everyday despondency at bay.
