Honestly, I've always struggled with the third person stuff - so this is just me to you. I just released an EP called 'And Nobody Dies', and since it came out I've had so many questions about what the title means - so I'm gonna tell you here because I think it'll help you understand all the songs there on a deeper level and appreciate the arc I want to take you on.
My therapist, a sweet guy called Jim, kept talking to me about how nobody dies from emotional intimacy and vulnerability, something like "it can get hard, you process the feelings, you have the difficult talk - and nobody dies". And as soon as he said that I knew it was the name for the EP. It perfectly describes the process of writing and producing all these songs.
I wrote so many more, but these are the five songs I felt perfectly captured the last couple of years. From facing down my childhood trauma, my fear of not being capable enough as a human being, the times I've hurt someone without ever wanting to. It's all here.
