Robert Jan Dukarm

Robert Jan Dukarm plays pipe organ, piano, and violin professionally. As an organist he has performed in organ and choral recitals in and around Victoria BC Canada and on a 2018 choir tour in Eastern Europe. He has also performed as a jazz violinist in various venues including Hermann's Jazz Club and Jazz Fest in Victoria. Robert plays swing jazz and Latin music with jazz pianist Peter Dent. Robert and Peter play together as a duo called Son de Victoria.

Robert is the the organist for the Church of Saint John the Evangelist and the accompanist for the Newcombe Singers community choir in Victoria. He is a graduate of the Victoria Conservatory of Music and the University of Victoria. He studied organ under Michael Gormley at Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria, and currently studies organ with Mark McDonald, the Assistant Music Director at Christ Church Cathedral. Robert is Vice President of the Victoria chapter of the Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO).
