Robert Ziino was born in The Bronx, New York, to parents of Italian descent, John Ziino and Palma LoRusso. He was educated at the Center for the Media Arts (New York), New England Digital (New York), and The University of Central Florida (Orlando).

His music career started at age 12 on the accordion, now his recording studio is filled with analog modular synthesizers from all over the world and a Synclavier.

He founded Experimental Artists in 2004. Prior to the creation of Experimental Artists, he worked for EFX Systems (Burbank), Streeterville Studios (Chicago), and formed Blue Raven Productions (Orlando). Artistically he is inspired by the lives and art of Roger Waters, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Syd Barrett, Wendy Carlos, Alan J. Pakula, Stanley Kubrick, and Al Pacino.

Robert Ziino currently lives as an unknown artist and iconoclast in a small town north of San Francisco.
