Roberto is a longtime hippy who, while exploring the length and width of America, happened upon lake Atitlan in the late 70's, and has made it his home since then. Besides playing and recording music, he is the director of the Festival Atitlan, a yearly music and Arts event here in Santiago Atitlan. He also manages Radio Festival Atitlan, an online radio station (check the link above), and is the director of the new "Peña Luz", a Culture and Arts center in Santiago Atitlan.) He has composed and recorded 9 albums of very eclectic music over the years, as well as collaborating on recording projects with Canopus, Pata de Conejo, Mambo Balam, and more...
