Robin Flux

Robin Flux is a multifaceted DJ/producer, trained dancer and experimental artist based in Copenhagen, having performed in revered venues across Europe, the US and Asia, with a recent extensive tour in Japan and Korea.

Inspired by the early era of underground dance and club culture in the US, Robin developed his own unique, hybrid style between DJ and Live Set, using 4 decks digital and vinyl, sophistically creating, deconstructing, re-arranging multilayered, heavy sample-based performances, that are situated between house and techno, with discerning dips into ballroom, club, garage and disco.

As an active dancer in the international ballroom, whacking and house dance communities, he is dedicated to creating queer-centered, intentional safe spaces where dance culture can thrive in a non-judgmental environment, which he manifests through various experimental club concepts, dance sessions and community events in Copenhagen.

As a DJ he supported well-established artists such as Cinthie, Peach, Levon Vincent, Amy Dabbs, Dam Swindle, Baba Stiltz, DJ Boring and many others. As a producer, he has released his music on international labels such as Miura Records, with recent features on XLR8R, The Lot Radio NYC, and Dure Vie Paris, among others.
