Robot was a rock band from Seville (Spain) active between 2005-2011 and led by singer-songwriter, guitar player and producer Juan G. Acosta. The band became influential in the spanish post-hardcore scene after their debut album in 2005 in which they achieved a distinctive sound by blending 80's darkwave and synth pop influences with progressive elements. After the first album the band broke up and returned in 2008 with a complete new line up -with the exception for Acosta- recording the E.P. 'Los inconvenientes de creer en Dios' and 'Triple Mortal'.
