Hi, I’m Rochelle Chedz, singer / songwriter born and based in the beautiful Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago.
I began writing my own material at fourteen years old. Putting pen to paper has always been my release, my therapy, it’s the most freeing feeling transforming all my emotions into music.
In 2014, i joined the popular Trinidadian based band, Imij and Company, the foundation of live entertainment in Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean. I have been part of the group for over six years, performing across the nation, including having the honor of being the opening act for Ms Lauren Hill and Maxwell at the annual Tobago Jazz Experience which took place April 2016.
I released my first single No Talking,” in 2016, which became the most requested local song on the airwaves in T’nT that year. I later followed up with a Caribbean Pop single “All That You Never Had, as well as over the pond in Sweden and Germany where my follow up release "Care" was played and featured on BigFM radio.
Ive written and recorded countless songs over the years while working with various producers from the Caribbean, London, and USA.
It’s my passion to create music with meaning and purpose.
