Rock Paper Sisters is an Icelandic Rock band influenced by Classic Rock and Stoner Garage Rock. With the experimental power from Queens of the Stoneage , Jack White , Led Zeppelin and Soundgarden.
First single was “Howling Fool” wich hit the chart on local rock radio in Iceland.
Their first live show was at the notorious stadium “Laugardalshöllin” opening up for Billy Idol. The Rock Paper Sisters was founded in the autumn days of 2017 with members with various
experience from the Icelandic music scene. The band is one of many that has been
founded in a party but one of few or maybe the only one that actually met, practiced,
recorded and played live. Things didn ́t start to happen seriously until the spring of 2018
when they released their first song “Howling Fool” and to follow up on that, their first live
show was at the notorious stadium “Laugardalshöllin” opening up for Billy Idol.
Since then the band has made some festival and concert appearances and released their debut
album “One in a Million” 2023 which hit the charts as the most sold album in the first week in
Iceland.
