Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Rocky Lotto has struck gold with his debut album Stay Infamous. After listening through the nine track album I was very impressed by his lyricism and understanding of music. Unlike most rappers, Rocky utilizes wavy beats, a smooth sounding flow, and hard bars. In every song I felt like he picked the perfect cadence to match the beat which is honestly rare in today’s rap game. While he does have a couple heavier beats he mostly sticks with sounds that you would expect out of rappers like Curren$y - smooth, jazzy, wavy beats with smooth vocals. However, Rocky still is able to bring his own flavor to the song. Some songs that I felt truly hit his mark were: “Day Dreaming”, “Go Get It”, “Big Shot”, “Catch Up” and one of my favorites/an excellent ending to the album, “Finish Line”. ~ via Fifthkindvibes.com
