In a world where it seems to be that everyone wants to be a Dj it's not easy nowadays to stand out in the crowd. You need to have a little luck, a lot of faith and even more strength and talent to succeed.
That little luck came for Portuguese techno-rising star Rocky Valente when - after years of perfecting her Dj and production skills – she met Premier League Dj-duo Pig and Dan. They were struck by her energetic, acidy, dark and still soulful techno-style of playing and producing and opened up their world renowned ELEVATE label for her to come up with every track she wanted to produce and release.

Rocky didn't disappoint when she came up with a four track album EP that blew everyones mind in November 2019. The four tracker was played by the likes of John Digweed, Richie Hawtin, Secret Cinema and Monika Kruze, who gave the EP-track Unapologetic full support.

As a Dj her career also took off, sharing stages with Boris Brejcha, Amelia Lens, Pig&Dan, Chris Leibig, Joris Voom, Kolsch, Stefano Noferini, UMEK and more. With the forthcoming ELEVATE release of the Revolution EP, including a remix by Mark Reeve of Drumcode and preparations for a tour through South America, where she has a huge fan following, the year 2020 will definitely be Rocky's year.
