Roderic Burns

Roderic Burns is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Hitchin. After a 9 year stint as bassist with ambient dance act - Spicy Goat, and a brush with near success as a commercial composer in the mid-1990s, he resigned himself to the good old 9 to 5. The proceeding years saw him squirrelling away in the background and fulfilling his musical whims, writing straight-ahead pop songs and whimsical paeans to love - a stark contrast to the high-octane dance-floor-fillers that characterised his previous incarnations. This culminated with the release of Imperfect Rhymes in July 2019 - an album of old, home-recorded song demos, spanning 30 years.

January 2025 sees the release of Yodelling In The Canyon, a second album of new songs and instrumentals.
