Rodrael

Rodrael is an R&B, Inspirational, and singer-songwriter from the Bay Area. Inspiration for his music is derived from his everyday life such as his family, the people he serves as a community organizer and his passion for youth, arts and education. With his music, Rodrael aims to spark inspiration to anyone who listens, with a particular focus on teens and young adults. An artist who likes to call himself an “underdog” - he works to show people his journey from being a just a teenager with a dream attending the prestigious Oakland School of the Arts to now doing anti-violence and peace work as a Restorative Justice facilitator through Oakland Unified School District, and working with the unhoused community as the choir Director of PCO (People's Choir Oakland). You’ll find that Rodrael can’t separate his music from his daily life because his family and his community are woven into the fabric of not only who he is as an artist, but who he is as a human.
