Roee Lavan

Roee Lavan is an Israeli singer and song writer that mainly active on the Israeli Blues scene. He carefully works on his unique materials with his signature electric guitar, but after a long period of time Roee decided to play some more instruments. on the year 2013 Roee released his first album after performing mostly on the Tel Aviv scene. His first singles were played on 88FM and few more radio stations. this opportunity become a professional singer-song writer gave Roee confidence to start writing his 2nd album in few months, picking a new musical producer and it took only a few months to come up with brand new 11 songs in his second album.
The local scene gave Roee Lavan to release his 2nd Album on the 2016 Israeli blues festival.
Roee devoted his time to start and work on Blues and Blugrass technics and writing new songs when he came across a bad situation.
Roee was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer called GBM, and removed a 5cm tumor from his brain on July 2019. then he had been through a difficult time not being able to play his guitar. it took some time to work things out and when Roee regained his option to play and record, he got back to his Blues. Nowadays, Roee is working on a special collaboration of artists called "Blue Light Project", with close friends and special musicians, and doing his best to work on a new EP with brand new blues songs in English.
