ROHS

ROHS, his curiosity for mixing started back in 1984 when his older brother was mixing bootleg on a turntable. Fascinated by the way he could combine multiple music pieces in a continuous drum line, he decided to adopt this art form. Earning money by delivering newspapers and doing a lot of chores he bought his first turntables, the Technics sl 1200 mk2, this was the moment he entered the world of mixing. After hours of practicing he adopted on this style. Many remixes were produced, from yearmixes to remixing famous artists.
At the same time turntablism became a passion for him. After a few performances on the TV, and radio, he decided to participate in the Dutch Mixing Championships. In 1990 he began to shift his focus to the house music. After being hired by several clubs he made his way into being a well-known DJ, named ROHS. In 1996 he stopped performing to go back into his studio to expand his interest for producing his own tracks. Years later he brought out his own album, Different Stylez. At the same time he produced several tracks and uploaded them on Soundcloud, Muzonly and Beatport. Meanwhile being under contract with a well-known record label (announcement later this year), ROHS distinguishes himself with his own style and his preference for Underground Techno, Deep Minimalistic House and Trip Hop.
